<p style="text-align: left; margin-bottom: 15px;">That is considerably different to the failed project for a closed 12-team tournament presented in 2021.</p>
<p style="text-align: left; margin-bottom: 15px;">This initial Super League collapsed after hostility from supporters of Premier League sides Manchester United, Manchester City, Tottenham, Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool, which led those teams to withdraw.</p>
<p style="text-align: left; margin-bottom: 15px;">"The Super League is a wolf that today has disguised itself as a grandma to try and fool European football, but its nose and its teeth are still very big," Tebas commented.</p>
<p style="text-align: left; margin-bottom: 15px;">"Four divisions in Europe? Of course, but the first division will be for them, as in the [previous] plans," continued Tebas in clear reference to Spanish giants Real Madrid and Barcelona, adding "the clubs governing the competition? The big clubs, obviously."</p>
