<p style="MARGIN: 0px 3px 15px">China's non-ferrous metal </p></div> <div>industry logged steady expansion in production and foreign trade in 2022, official data shows.

<p style="MARGIN: 0px 3px 15px">The industrial added value of the sector rose 5.2 percent year on year, 1.6 percentage points higher than the average level of all industries, according to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.</p>
<p style="MARGIN: 0px 3px 15px">Last year, the output of 10 types of non-ferrous metals reached 67.74 million tonnes, up 4.3 percent from 2021, the data shows.</p>
<p style="MARGIN: 0px 3px 15px">The 10 leading non-ferrous metals include copper, aluminum, lead, zinc, nickel, tin, antimony, mercury, magnesium and titanium.</p>
<p style="MARGIN: 0px 3px 15px">In 2022, the total import and export volume of the sector stood at 327.3 billion U.S. dollars, surging 20.2 percent year on year.</p>

China's non-ferrous metal

industry logged steady expansion in production and foreign trade in 2022, official data shows.
